    Now he is one of the greats.... Down to earth guy also, easy to talk to. Definitely not like the fast talkin elvis character. This guy is truly the meaning of drag racing.

    I just met him in Bakersfield for the Nostalgia drags. Funny guy in person, he sat and BS'd with me for a few minutes, not about racing, about life. He actually drove the hauler with the car to Famosa, the hauler still has a front straight axle and manual trans. It looks better in person, the set up going down the road, priceless...

    OT, just a bit.
    I know where one of those haulers is (69 Dodge-4dr). It used to belong to my brother, he used to haul a roundy round race car.
