Heard there's another Pro Mod class starting up, much the same cars, but they'll have to fun an automatic trans instead of the Lenco's, and multi-stage clutches... I suppose an attempt to take some of the expense out of the class and get a few more cars involved....

Another fun class, if you're in the area, is the Texas Pro Stockers, 500 ci limit, don't remember the weight minimum, but again you have to run an automatic transmission instead of the 5 speeds like the NHRA pro stockers... Takes a bunch of money out of the price of building and running a car... It's up for discussion this winter at one of our local tracks to maybe bring in a version of the Texas class up here!!!! I just see it as another place for those "shiftless" guys to race!!!!!!!
