Waaaaaaah! I wanna go to the races! :-(
The Fuel Altereds are in Tucson, ...but I need to finish a car today!
I suppose it isn't all bad. Work always comes first, ...but I've got a great job!
I called the track, and they have 18 or 19 cars booked, including Winged Express, Rat Trap, and Nanook.
Ooh well....I'll watch the Englishtown NHRA event tonight, and there's a car show next weekend. :-)

I know it's been a while but here are a few picks from the flathead race I was talking about. Not very good pics taken with phone and I didn't have a lot of time for spectating...

In years past I've seen double-inline FED's but didn't see any this year...
here's one more pic...

Hey Skids72 great pics, from a phone no less! What drag strip were you at?
How did you do at the track?

These were taken at Bandimere Speedway in Colorado. They have a few flathead/inline events each year. They were qualifying for national event the following day.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
