Yep, we needed one more project like another hole in the head.Dan and I went over tonight and moved stuff around and cleaned up a little, so when it shows up we should have a spot to shove it into. I guess one more won't hurt.

Looks like a new house or at least a new garage in your future, Don.
You could always relocate up to Dade City to where my father in law lives. Property next store to him is for sale and is 3 acres. While you building your new garage, you might be able to work out of his. At 60 x 60 he has a little extra space, especially if he moves out a couple of his cars.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

3 acres would be cool. I wonder how many projects you could stack in that much room??I think the secret though is that we might need to actually get some of these projects running and on the road. What a unique concept that would be!
I met Don at the shop today when they delivered his new toy. It is a little rough around the edges, but basically is sound. Perfect for a drag only car that he won't have to put a fortune in to go out and have some fun on the track. I am going to give him my 460 and C6 to use in it, I won't ever get around to putting it in anything and it is a shame to have it just sitting there. With a little work it should be a solid 10 second car and pretty consistent.
I think it is an ex-police car, there are some tell tale signs, like a hole in the center of the trunk lid where an antenna once went. The highway patrol down here used a lot of LX notchbacks at one time. The guys who raced it ran a 455 Pontiac and fourspeed in it......kinda strange.
We are going to have Dan look at the rollcage to make sure it is welded correctly, and if not, we can redo it or cut it out and put a new one in. Our local track is not all that fussy, but at the speeds this thing could run we want it to be absolutely safe and correct. So, we will see how it goes.

Don(s) this sounds like a new kind of fun for the 3D garage. I bet it would be a blast to go out to a track and let her rip! Please post some pics! It's great that you'll be able to give him the 460 and c6! Nice start already! We want to see some pics of Don's grin as he crosses the finish line" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
And from Kansas! Happy 4th, everyone!!
