If you are running a cast crank that hard. You might want to update that before it finds its own way to come out of the block. I think I would look at your tire size and tranny and converter choices 1st. In the 1/4 a 26 inch tall tire is too small for what you are doing. What kind or RPM'S are you hitting at the stripes ?

The powerglide is at its maximum wieght limit and underpowered in a 2520 pound car and also the converter you are using is way underpowered from your motors output power.

Do you have the 2 or 4 door car? very cool looking car. If you could please post a pic of what you have we would love to see it. Also very important, what cylinder heads are you running?
