A couple of rebuilt Colorado Gassers

I remember the car well and Tak too. My dad ran every dragstrip in Colorado back then and loved watching Tak's Toy run. I have almost that exact picture when we were in Erie. now I have to go see if I can find it and remember when.:cool:

Boy I love gassers. I bet not many people don't like them, they are just so cool. Nice to see these old ones being brought back. I posted a picture of this old gasser that was found abandoned and brought back to life. It was at a local show and was one of my favorite cars there.

Several years ago, Johnny Lightning had a series of 1/64th scale Willys gassers. I was in Toys R Us and they had a complete set hanging there!! 'Course I bought them!:LOL: I "THINK" that the "S&S" car was one of them...I'll have to dig them out and see. Nice cars...thanks for the pix! Those are the kinds of cars I remember running when dad took me to US 30 Dragstrip back in the late 60's early 70's, still love that look today!!!
