Well, it's been the same argument for ever about the price of drag racing on the street vs on the street... I've done my share of racing at both venues. The strip is always the safest and as compared to getting caught street racing just once it's probably cheaper to be legit.... Last ticket I got was for 135 in a 55 while trying to settle the age old argument of Mustang vs. Corvette....This was better then 10 years ago, even then it cost me in excess of $1500.00, my license for a year, increased insurance rates (like triple what I had been paying) for 5 years, another $500.00 in attorney's fees, and a couple hundred more in court costs.... Trust me, far more then it cost me to buy a set of SFI current belts and a whole years worth of admission to Sat. night grudge racing at Thunder Valley..... My understanding is that the same offense today would cost a bunch more, and probably my car, too.... I don't like having to pay money to go racing, but I guess it's better then the alternative......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
