Oh, I forgot to mention that we are going to use a progressive nitrous controller this year also. The NX Maximizer 2 seems to do exactly what we want, and then some.

I would love to have a monster bb to run on the street,but I will have to live with my 600- 700 hp small block. I'm expecting to deposit a few biscuits in my shorts this summer. If those hoosiers hook like the prostreet radials do, your gonna like them! If you ever come to michigan let me know!

Are you going to the Orlando World street Nationals this year? I have just finished watching the 2004 and 2005 DVD's of the Nationals and my hubby and I are thinking of coming to the USA to watch, well I am trying hard to convince him it would be a great wedding anniversary present anyway!
Also, what happened, you mentioned your hurt the car and engine??

I'm not going to say for certain because anything could happen between now and then, but we probably will not be there this year.
That sounds like a great idea for a anniversary gift!
Unfortunately we, I mean I, blew the engine up pretty bad last October. It is repairable, and when it is done, it will be used as a spare. In the mean time, my wife and I just got back from a trip to Virginia from dropping off the old engine and all of the parts so my engine guy can build me a new one. The new engine should be ready by late March. I have to tell you, it was real tough keeping me away from the engines that he had on display. He specializes in nothing but mountain motors, and there was a real nice looking 840cu in beauty sitting on the stand just waiting for me to take it home. We made the trip down there in the motorhome so we didn't have anywhere to put it. Whew! That was close.
:LOL: :LOL: :LOL: Man, can I relate to that!!!!! Should be against the law to have something that nice on display!!!! I get that way everytime I see that 815 inch John Kasse built Ford Hemi...... March should still be plenty early enough to get that gorgeous yellow machine back on the track! Keep us updated, and have a great summer campaigning the car....

I'm a 10wide fan & enjoy seeing something different than the late camaro/firebird/stang set up that seems to be sooo visible in that class. I realize that it's for the wind cheating factor but it is a breath of fresh air to see a frig. sized vehicle hittn' the number.
Do you have issue at speed with the fins or do they act as a minni wing?
I'd love to get back into drag racing but I all but "cut" my 66 chev II c-dan into no affordable class. After removing the stock floor, building a strut front & running the M/T 19.50x33's I'm happy just to go watch now.

I know the feeling,we or should I say I destroyed our mopar in Dec 06, put a nice hole in the block and spat out the conrod amongst other things during my burnout......... sort of half divorced for a week too ! hahaha.
We are waiting on our new engine, we have ordered parts from the USA and now have a block, sump and oil pick up, waiting for the rods, pistons etc.
I am starting to get itchy to go racing too, and yes I wanted to take home a Mopar from the engine builders the other day too, but I got told I am being watched! hahaha. I was only going to put it in the ute to make sure our mopar would fit in when it is finished????
Hopefully i will be on the track in late march this year myself.

Well, after the trip down to Virginia and back we decided to trade in the motorhome for a more racer friendly tow vehicle. We should be picking up our new 2005 35' Dynamax Grand Sport some time this week. I took it for a test drive Saturday, and OMG it was like riding on air. In fact it was!! Air ride suspension, air ride seats, and the list of options is enough to make me want to sell the house and move in. I have a link to the specs for it anyway.

WOW! What a fantastic Racer friendly tow vehicle ??? We have a 2006 Toyota Hilux turbo diesel dual cab and an enclosed race car trailer, I thought ours was cool, but geez after reading the specs on your new beast, it makes ours look really primitive!Quote:
