Hey, I was there when those pics were taken! I've been racing at 'da Grove for the last 4 years. Did you notice the Chi-Town Hustler in the pics? Last year they had Big Daddy Don Garlits and Arnie the Farmer Beswick there too

Sheet ya ..remember runing against them in the 70's when Harry drove then turned the chores over to Raymond. There crew of Waterbed Fred and Dale Emery always turned some great number ... next time will tell ya few stories from the strip in Miami,Fl
Remember him at the Gatornationals (late 70's?) ........he went thru the lights & the body blew off the chassis.....and still won. Raymond's crew always put on a great show.........

I talked to the guy and he said he bought the rights,and yes there is another Blue Max running in the Southern States (Del Whorsham).I think its the car from the very next year .These cars have a special place in my heart .I grew up around them ,and met all the guys.I was about 10 years old though.My Dad built their chassis':)Quote:
