    Dave,that sounds like a great idea then. But wouldn't the tear-down line be so backed up that half of them wouldn't get to race because the old-timers know all those old stock eliminator 'cheaters' tricks?
    Otherwise wouldn't it just result in a 'reaction time' class if you didn't allow the ET to improve?

    Cheat??? I don't cheat!!!! I have been accused of using a liberal interpretation of the grey area in the rules from time to time, besides, it ain't cheating if you don't get caught.....

    And today's quiz question is....... How many pounds of grinder filings dropped into the primer does it take to make an aluminum block pass the magnet test????

    Hint, more then it takes to make aluminum heads pass the magnet test.

    Oh yeah, at my age they usually measure my reaction time with a calender.... The Pro Tree is really a nightmare!!!~!!!! You can tell when I'm getting serious about drag racing, I hire a driver!!!!!
