I think the non use of line lock on starting line pertains to specific class racing butt not all like TEC-1 said if you run a TRANS-BRAKE you only use the line lock for your burn out.I run at a NHRA track and I use my line lock button like a trans-brake button with a little practice once you find that sweet spot you can cut some pretty good lights.I think thats what CFFISHER was trying to get at about the use of line lock on starting line.
