    T-bucket 1/4 times?

Just curious what you guys run in the 1/4mile in your T-buckets. I'm building one to race so I'm curious what they run.

Depends on the motor, the driver and the rules. Many strips don't let buckets run without a bunch of safety gear, or they limit your ET. Go faster than you're supposed to, and you go home.

    This one went 7.90 . . .

This ones gonna be a street car. The drivetrain going in is a forged 348ci LS1, a FAST 90mm intake, NX direct-port kit (300shot), TH400, and a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears. This was all going into my '99 Z28 Camaro but decided to put it in something lighter.

Well......you gotta be on your toes a little more than the average hotrod. And you will discover that their not real great for any long distance driveing..........but they are great for cruseing, and burger run's....and warm nights.
You get to feel the wind........you hear things diffrently.... and smell the essance's of your motor, and sourndings. It's almost as good as rideing a scooter. And most of all..........bring plenty of sunscreen and a hat.....trust me on that!!
Hope that helps a little. The Naked Ninja.

Do you have a horsepower figure and a car weight?
As well as the differential ratio?

If you do, I can run some some figures and give you a fairly good estimate.

Viking, what kind of hp does your motor make? rearend ratio? converter stall?

I want a big tire car like Viking's but I'll probably use Mickey Thompson ET Streets. The engine will make about 400hp on the motor and hopefully 700hp on a 300 shot. I want to use a straight axle with spindle mount wheels and no front brakes. I don't want wheelie bars but I guess I'm gonna have to put them on from what I've heard

507hp 437tor @ 6000rpm (crank) vol eff was 96% got the tunnel ram good and frosty

    3.54 rear and 3200 stall.

Tires are MT Sportsman PRO's 31 x 18.50, the regular Sportsmans laid down LOTS of rubber but that don't get you down the road.

If you don't run the wheelie wheels and hook up good, you'll wish you had

Good luck with the build, keep us posted, and take pics (post) of everything, you'll be glad later.
