LOL... Yup, muscle and... skin. Haha. No fat. Hahahaha :p
Hellraiser, just a littel jealousy on my part. I don't ever remember 105 lbs. LMFAO
Heh, well that's ok. It's not always good. I say who cares. People try not to eat what they like and try losing weight, etc by not eating sweets, etc. Well IMO you can eat anything and everything just don't eat SO MUCH OF IT! Do that and stay active and I think you'd be fine. Eat all you want and eat candy, you live once. lol Yeah I will probably not be saying this same thing in about 15 years. Hahaha.
My best time to date in the 1/4 is 11.02 with a 1.4- 60' time. This was done in a full bodied/street driven 1962 VW Beetle on slicks.
It's powered by a bored and stroked 2332 cc VW flat 4 with 2 Weber 48IDA's for carburation. The suspension has a little work done to it and it's running a close ratio trans.
I hope to make it into the tens next summer.
Jerry...

Thanks for the props! That 383 was too much for the old running gear! The chunk let go and took the tranny out with it! (just driving down the hiway.) Just put in a tricked out Turbo 350 and an axle assembly out of a police model with posi and a real fat sway bar! Should help my traction problems a bit! The only problem is I had to go with a 5" bolt circle assembly and my wheels are 4 3/4" so I'm going to have to drill the axle flanges and probably drums. My old axles wouldn't fit the splines. Anyone know if I can use my old drums and backing plates? Any other advice would be appreciated.
my best so far is a 10.60 @ 128 with a 1.62 60' time in my daily driven 67 impala with a 496 turbo 400 with a trans break and 4.10 gears, 10" drag radials, car weighs 4300 with me in it and a full tank of gas, full interior, A/C but not hooked up and full 3 1/2 mufflered exhaust, i hope to be much quicker this year with the new fogger system.
Ok I know it is dinosaur slow but it is the only time I've ever run. 3240 lb 94 S10 with 355 sb ran a 10 flat in the 1/8 at 75 mph. that is with a turbo 350 trans, origianal 2.73 free spinning rear, and 8 inch tires. I hit second gear about 20 feet from the lights and spun the tire the whole way down the track. The only saving grace about the truck now is that I made the exact same pass thirty minutes later, (great bracket racer)
Cant wait to see what she will do with some Mickie T's, traction bars, and a 4.10 posi.!!!!

i need to update my fastest time. 12.62 still not fast enough!
To date, the best we have done is an 8.88 @154. Still looking for those 7's.
