I'm finishing a blown flathead powered 35 Ford Hi Boy.
I want to keep the weight down & not run a radaitor.
Will the engine be OK if I convert a 2 gallon Moon gas tank to water and just fill it and the block with coolant?
I have a Vertex, so I'll just push start it at the line.
Will a 2 gal. tank full of coolant be much lighter than a radiator?
Welcome to the club Flatman. I didn't know they still let you push start, even in nostalgia racing. Why not just put a starter in it. All of the flatty suff at our track is self starting, due to the no push start rule. I'm sure the moon tank will work as a water tank as long as it's high enough.
