great work---Don. you going to go to the Hot Rod Reunion also
We will see you there then:D
Hey Don, I don't know what the weather is doing in Duncan this time of year but I wondered how the new heating unit was performing ? I like the Chevy tail lights in the back of the roadster too and it is a nice change from the tear drop units.
You won't know yourself cruise out in the Grey Beards Tour in an enclosed vehicle with air conditioning, make it harder to get back into the roadster for the same trip.;)
Update on Tims 32
and the heater works fine Mark
Final Maroon pieces done, now on to the chassis and f/e for the matte black.
Supposed 2 B in the lo 70's 2morrow so perfect day to shoot.
2 weeks 2 morrow into the project. Tim outta be cruzin real soon.
Looking good Don.
All the paint process is D O N E.
Now to build a roadster
Don, that chassis looks real P&J-ish. GM metric brakes front & Ford drums on the rear? Or am I off base?
It makes me want to do another one, but that's never going to happen.
Love the paint scheme and the Chevy tail lights. I used those myself.
Cant wait to see it up on its feet.
Nice progress and parts!
This is coming together fast. That paint looks real nice. Is it all SPI too?
Chassis all done, now to set motor and trans then the body goes on. It's all fun stuff now.
All bolted 2gether, just waitin for the windshield then it goes on, then install wiring and little bolt on stuff and fire it up.
Not too shabby for 2 ole fartss ready for the nursing home, 3 weeks 2day.
well done .
Really nice job Don. Bet there are quite a few rodders, who have cars in shops and are waiting months for items to happen, are just amazed at how quick you turn out an excellent product.
Tell Tim I hope to see it on the road, literally. I am expecting to see an trimmers dream interior, hope he will do it.
Nice looking roadster!
Hey, you wash your mouth out please Don, what is this nonsense about old blokes, hell, you wait until you get to my age....
I had a thought that with the lack of any chrome parts on the suspension etc., the frame would look a bit plain but with it together and the colour choice it looks outstanding and the car reminds me of the saying " Less is More " .
Just bout done,
