    Yeah, You're still doing without a crossover pipe so you're doing without the benefits of all that scavenging. But heck, when I'm done, this car will go too fast anyway. And looks do count in this hobby, right?

    If you're talking about an X or H pipe between the banks of the motor, you may find that they're more about mellowing out the sound than they are about power. It is possible to over-scavenge and actually lose power down low in the rpm range with an X pipe. Not so much with an H pipe.

    Yes I was talking about an X or H pipe. I've never heard of over scavenging, I'll do some more reading.
