It's been a little quiet around here lately. I know someone here can help save me some time. I want to replace the top and bottom radiator hoses on my deuce. Typical '32 radiator hose locations, small block Chevy, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold. What part numbers did you use? I have local NAPA and CarQuest stores if that helps. Thanks.
When I did the water pump relocation on a 36 GMC truck, I made some "templates" of the prospective hoses out of stiff wire, and marked the ends with masking tape denoting the inlet size needed. Went to the nearby Napa, who have become used to my odd requests, and they sent me to the back room to pick them out myself... :LOL:

Not sure how much Don, DA34Guy, checks in here any more, but he'd be a good source for that info with all the Deuces he's done. You might PM or e-mail him? I'm thinking of a Winter project to try to form a pair of curved metal tubes that can be connected to the water pump and radiator using short pieces of straight hose to eliminate future worries.
The bottom hose from a56 chevy v8 works for the bottom of my 32 you just have to cut about 2 in off both ends the top one on mine I had to make a thermostat housing with metal tubing because I am running a Rochester flat top injector and ac and alt makes things real tight so I can't help you there,,,,,,ted
Thanks. The bottom one was the one I was most concerned about. The top on is easier to figure out.
Try gates 20607 for the upper, needs to be trimmed but it should do the job

Here's what worked for me on the '36 Lynn, had to do some digging to recall what was used. Relative location of the lower should be very similar, upper, not so sure. The lower is a Carquest # 21285 (s/b same as Gates), the upper 21953. The lower needed to have a portion of the hose and spring cut off, but the shape/fit ended up perfect. Here are a couple pics.
