For me, I like it just the way it is. The top color accents the body and interior, and the front frame horns don't need the embellishment. If you decide to get steelies (like you mentioned in another thread) I'd keep the slotted wheels & tires to have the option of swapping as the mood hits you. The slots & blackwalls fit the car perfectly, to my eye. I'd just drive & enjoy it.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Along the lines of what Roger says about the front frame horns, I have not put the Moon tank back on after my roadster was redone over this past winter. For some reason, to me it now it looks like it does more harm than good to the overall integrity of the roadster's look. Here's a pic from about a week ago:
As far as the black top, I have it hanging in my garage and hope to never use it again.Nick

I actually have the top off, but just had it sitting on the car, not attached (know where this is going?). Went out for a quick spin, and got about 100yds from the house and the top launched off the car.Just got a new RodTop replacement about 3 weeks ago. So thats where my new wheels/tire $$ just went!!

Personally, I like it just the way it is. But we all have to make them our own, don't we?

driving to N&N and picking up a 32 body 3 window coupe body and chassis next week. Will be my first from him, hope many more will come. Getting a 34 3 window coupe body also. Anyone in the southeast needing one of these, let me know.

sure I can do that. Added a rear roll pan to body today. Cutting front crossmember out of chassis and pinching the front rails in tomorrow.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
