Well after considering your" suggestion"----
Whatever is on the front of your blower allowed us the set the NHRA National ET record for top fuel at Fremont , California in 1971----I believe that it allowed us to go up the stock car staging lanes for a record backup run in the one hour time frame that they then allowed--there was no way to be able to go thru the top end fire up road within the time frame so we did it with a "Funny car belt guard" starting device!!!
Actually just found out that the belt guard was removed to make room for the starter and a/c brackets,,I'm sure I wont need it anyways.
