I've got a Kugel IFS in my car. I believe it uses a Dodge OMNI rack.
I'd like to find stainless tie rod ends for it. They are female to the rack.
I've not seen any but maybe some of you have?

Heidt has them for their rack, and I think they use the same Omni rack.

Probably chrome rather then SS - haven't taken a magnet to them tho the A arms are SSDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

I called Heidts, they do have a stainless tie rod end available. I don't know if it will fit the Omni rack. They said it has a 9/16 to the rack and 1/2 to the arm. I'll have to look at the taper to the arm also.

Both TCI and Heidts use the Omni rack with special tie rods that use Mustang II type tie rod ends. They have 9/16 threads and take 1/2" nuts on the stud. The original Omni rack had metric threads on the tie rod ends. I don't think there are any metric SS tie rods ends. You would have to get chromed ones.

Mustang II tie rod ends fit the Omni rack no problem. They are both 9/16" fine thread.Anyone can restore an old car, it takes a man to cut one up
