I plan on using them full time. As for the performance and power...well the car will weigh 2200 lbs and the engine is 375 HP.I can tune the sound how I like them. I guess the reason I went with the CC design is, first price then tuneablity, I have a freind that has a set and I like the sound from the exhaust. Matts setup is good...It was just my preference.
Matt did all of the welding and the turnout adapter is not welded on yet. It is just slid in place. I am going to have them coated but I wanted to run the engine first before to get all tuning issues taken car of.
Hope that helps.

I talked to Matt last week, and I did not understand that his "CC Baffle" is actually made by Car Chemistry, but I see that now. We talked about his "STS" type, and the fact that there is very little that can be done to alter the exhaust note with them, making the CC baffle a better choice to me, too. So did you get the turnout that bolts on to the six point adapter from Matt, too? I see that CC offers them, so maybe that's another piece that Matt gets from CC?
I hear you on the performance - mine will be about the same 2200 to 2400 pounds with a predicted 425hp and 430ftlbs so it's really not an issue. I was thinking more of efficiency when cruising, and if there is enough scavenge and backpressure to balance the flow out - not a big deal, just thinking.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
