Can you guys not get your rods legal in another state,then use it from that point?or get it legal in another state and get it re tested,or whatever,once its back in your own state?
What if you buy a rod in another state,take it home and drive it out of the state you bought it in,?legal?or a gonad frying session with the local authorities because they dont like your car at the nextcheck?I dont really know how your system[s] work in your country,but it sounds like they dont like rodders a whole lot in various places,I think this needs its own thread,sounds like a can of snakes,too much for worms...
Deuce Ron,it does sound like a lot of hassle,but it works quite well,a lot of hot rod shops will usually organise the certifier in their area to come in on an as needed basis,but everyone knows that it has to be done,so there is no real probs,but to a guy who has re entered the rodding scene after a number of years,its a bit hard for them to have to do it this way,after ''the good old days''.I hope it works out ok for you,it would be a hassle to go thru all that and not be able to use your rod,looks kool too..
