Randy, you may be correct about that to a degree, but I think there is also an element of trying to have a different look in a perceived sea of '32s. I think we had a discussion on here a couple years ago that repopping the Pines style trim (without the flaps) would probably go over well to affect a different look. Of course, if someone would be successful with that idea it wouldn't be so unique.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
