On my roadster I got the hardware you are talking about from Hagan. I can run with a hood, without a hood, and with a hood along with Hagan hood side panels so my roadster actually has 3 different looks. It was easy to install and works very sweet, but the hardware was not cheap!

If you look at my One way to build a Hyboy, you can see how I did mine. If you are only going to run the hood it can be made much simpler. I would be happy to help you if you aren't in a hurry, I'm kind of busy
