Very nice work! I wish I could have afforded a '32 since now I find the cockpit of a '29 is really tight. How do those folks really get into a '27? I am just replying so I get notices from this neat thread and can follow it.

I know what issues IC2 has had to overcome and I've faced the very same ones with my 30/31 roadster. Quality control was not present the day mine rolled off the line and its taken tons of body work to get so many low quality issues ironed out. I should have mine on the road sometime in July at long last. **)Quote:

Great job! Keep the pics coming. I recently purchased a rolling chassis of a 32 roadster. In one box I found the exact windshield frame you have. It is a rough casting also. Im looking forward to seeing how yours comes out.

Streetrod your fiberglass body has such smooth lines. You're doing a killer job and I hope you keep posting pictures of your progress. My 30 Brookville roadster body looks like yours with flush doors, no door handles, hidden Hagan hinges, and I running a Duvall windshield. I like the smooth flowing look. Removing the bull noses was not fun nor was it a picnic converting the steel overlapped doors to being flush. Just moving slowly and believe me getting your body lines to match was much easier than dealing with my Brookville body lines that were a 1/4 of an inch off in a few places. IC2 loves Brookville's quality like I do. I can't wait to see your roadster completely painted with that windshield on there. Those laid back windshields make you look like you are going 70 mph even when you are parked. :DQuote:

I used Hotrod Flats for the body also (Copper pearl), fairly difficult to shoot and keep uniform. One thing about this paint is, you only have one shot to get it right. This is a single stage self flattening paint so it has to be good the first time. I am real happy with the outcome, the last pics were just a couple hours after it was shot so it was still shinny, this morning it had flattened quite a bit. check it out and give me some feedback.
