    3 window armrest

     



    Ok i have tryed and tryed to find armrest for my coupe. NO GO
    I dont need old ford stuff i want repop but where do i find them?

    Maybe this will help ... these are a pair of original 32 Ford 3W armrests ...
    One still with the original upholstery still on it.

    I know of NO REPOPS ... Just like them ...

    Even the original ones are very difficult to come by. Most were discarded when the upholstery got redone. Because the door panels has to have a hole in it to slip OVER the armrests



    There is a fellow on eBay who lists some aluminum homemade looking ones that he says looks like the originals once they are covered with upholstery. I just looked on eBay and did not see any now ... but he does list them from time to time.

    A friend with a 32 Wesott 3W coupe used a set from a 57 Ford ... the ones from the rear of a 2 door sedan.



    IF you have not seen the original ones installed ( and who has ?? ) they look pretty nice. They are not too big, not too small and are shaped like they belong in the coupe. Just my nickel ...

    I have the real ones in my car ... SO ... I will be using them but IF I had to come up with something ... I believe I could go for the 57 Ford ones ...

    He did not price them ... I do not know the price of the repros ...
    Never needed a set. I do know that the originals, when you can find them, go for 4 to 6 hundred dollars a pair. WHICH is stupid $$$... money that could be spent better elsewhere.

    Fortunately for me ... my 3W was fairly complete and unmessed with, when I got it. It had been stored inside since 1958.
