Really nice 2-tone paint scheme. I am considering something similar for my Nova. There is no limit to what a man can do . . . if he doesn't mind who gets the credit. (Ronald Reagan)

The tru fire flames have a 3D effect and looking at them from different angles especially in the direct sunlight make them really pop. The flames on the hood which you cannot see very well really are my favorite. I've just done something really different and I have so many "one off" custom made items on this roadster which has created a black hole in my wallet. About 3 more weeks and I'll be on the road. The AC is being completed and then my already completed ultra leather interior will be installed late next week. If I'm lucky I will have a few weeks to drive it to work any BUGS out prior to storing it for the winter. I'll post some more photos once she's on the road and after I have my convertible top made...trying to decide on black or white now. It would be impossible to match the two tone interior colors perfectly.

Moter, I got those cutout a year ago some place back east. There are oval designed low profile to fit on the new Dodge chargers. As for the engine it is an original 1970 LS6 454 which I purchased long ago brand new and I had never fired it. I had it built professionally 2 times and this last time was the first time it was fired and run in on a dyno. I upgraded from the stock LS6 cam the first time to a large flat tappet, and now I've gone to a large hyd. roller cam.
jyardgirl, thanks for the compliment and I truthfully cannot wait until this job is well done. Not much sunny weather left to be driving here in Oregon & this roadster will never see rain in its life. Guess you thought it really looks hot because of the flames being so realistic!!!

Based on your earlier description I wasn't sure about the flames, but they look great, fit the overall style of the car well.
As for the top, only black will do the rest of the car justice. Too bad Kenny Jones passed, you'd have loved one of his.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Missed the Good Guys show!
Bob, thanks for the compliment. I know my build is not for everyone's taste but it has turned out as I had pictured it two years ago when I began this journey. It is an all steel roadster with a 30 roadster title. I was hoping to have it done in time for the Good Guys show in Puyallop this year, but I've encountered one glitch after another. I will be lucky to get a couple weeks of driving in this year before the weather gets too bad so maybe I can get any bugs worked out prior to storing it. I still have a convertible top to have made for it once it get the roadster in my hands. Kenny Jones is busy working on hotrods in heaven now. Maybe I will see you at the Good Guys show next year unless I'm working with Kenny Jones.
