Occasionally here in the Pacific Northwest we have sunny but chilly days.
And it is nice to have a set of side curtains to snap on when you get the urge to
take your hot rod out for a cruise.
I have a set made very much like the ones pictured by Joe. They are extremely nice to have when the temp is around 30 or 40 degrees, and the wind chill factor bring it down to the teens.
I really don't care what they look like, I have such a big grin on my face it doesn't matter to me.
I will take a pic on Wednesday and post tomorrow night with the side curtains in place .

I haven't used side curtains since I traded the TR3 for a Lotus Elan. Damn how many years ago was that??..... about 43 I think. Bitch getting old.

For the cost of the Chavers top and side curtains you could have had the five window coupe and a happy wife. Trading fresh air for hot air. What a deal.

It can happen to you. I got two oldies for fun and two AWD drive for the sloppy roads. Only drove the hotrod in snow once. Wasn't much fun, but had to go.

Just don't try to merge the two. A guy near here, mated a 55 Chevy body to a S10 4wd chassis. Looks like crap. Never seen it on the road, guy must be too embarassed to be seen driving it.

    side curtains

Well here is a pic of my 28 with the side curtains installed. I took the car out today for a short drive and was pleasantly toasty inside, even though it was in the low 40s outside.
They may not look great, but you know what, as long as I can keep warm and drive the hot rod I don't care.

I think they actually look pretty good. Of course, with a nice little RPU like that, you could put anything on there and it would still look ok. Very cool rod.

You aren't gonna do much hot rod cruisin' around here from now til April, side curtains or not... not unless I put some tire chains on the roadster. This is my hotrod from now til spring...
