I'm hoping that someone has the seat out of their 32 and can measure it for me. I need the dimensions as marked on this drawing.
Thanks, Dennis

Does this help?

Actually, I need the dimensions from an original Ford 3W coupe seat. The dimensions of the wood, on the wood part of the seat frame. The lines on the drawing represent the 4 pieces of wood that make up the original Ford seat frame.
Thanks, Dennis

I redid all the wood in my original 3W ... and will get the measurements for you ... but it will be a few days. I am away from the coupe ... until Saturday.
:D
Deuce, that's what I'm talking about.
I'm going to try and replicate a 32 3W seat out of ply wood, joining it together with 2"x2" angled metal formed on a brake. The 4 plywood pieces will be bolted together using those stainless steel nutserts for wood.
Also it would be helpful if you could get the angle of the seat sides off the plywood seat base, and the angle of the seat back, also off the seat base.
I will probably put some 2"x2" angles under the seat base, and mount some sliders off of them.
It is going in a Kilbourne fiberglass 3W body, so it doesn't have the be a 100%copy of an original, but I would like it to end up looking like a stock seat once it is covered with upholstery.
Thanks, Dennis

I wrote down the measurements ... for you and then walked off and left them where I have the 3W stored.
Sunday or Monday I promise.
That will be great.:whacked:
Thanks, Dennis
:)
The angle of the seat lay back is 70 degrees ... with a angle finder ...
The bottom seat wood is 19 inches front to the rear.
The bottom is 38 inches wide @ the front and 43 inches wide @ the rear
The top seat back is 25 and 1/2 inches high
The top wood is 43 inches wide @ the bottom
The top wood is 47 inches wide @ the top.
Hope this HELPS ...
I forgot to say ...
The angle on the side pieces vary ... but will fall in correctly when using the back top piece as measured ...
