Thanks, I'll try to get an updated picture soon and post it. I added a swing out windshield, louvered hood top with side straps, and a few other details.Quote:

Not mine,....
But I thought you would enjoy this as much as I did,.......
I've got a new favorite pic of mine. I'd rather the date stamp and road sign pole not be in it but I like the pic.

and here's an updated pic from the one I posted in post #48. I added a swing out windshield, louvered hood, hood straps, and a few other things not easily visible in this photo.

Gastrick, that's one of my favorite deuces, love the updates you've done too. You definitely have "the look" figured out.
Hey thanks for fixing my pic Denny. I appreciate it. That looks way better.
And thanks for the compliments fellas.
How about this 32 ;) next to my 55 in my driveway?

I'd take either one. Don't be afraid to post more pics of these beauties.
It's a 32 Chevy 4 door sedan powered by a ZZ4. Paint is laquer candy apple red & is nearly 30 years old. I don't care for the velvet pink button tuck interior though.:HMMM:
I keep teasing my friend I'm going to steal his car & drop it off at Gabes.:p
here's a picture of mine had sedan's miss them a little in the rain but nothing like a roadster. Hope the picture loads.
Great story about Sgt. Jarod Behee, thanks for sharing it. I am a disabled Vietnam infantry veteran and I lost alot of buddies to mines,RPG and mortor rounds. After my last injury (land mine) I took care of the company mail and delivered it to guys at the hospital and talked to them when it was possible. Saw some nasty injuries. It was so depressing when I went to take mail to a guy and he had died since the day before. Medical care has improved since then (at least I think it has) and these guys need ALL the help they can get, both when they are injured and after they have "recovered"--which sometimes never happens.
Having said that, here's one of my favorite '32 pictures.
When I was editing my last post I left out something. These guys need all the help they can get-- AND all the support we can give them. This us something that we Vietnam veterans didn't get.
No deuces in my life, but I do like this one. Nice clean rear and very simple. The model inhances the vehicle!:3dSMILE:

I found this while crusing around one day. Garage door that was NEVER open just happened to be open that day and the owner was in the garage. I stopped to ask about the car. He had owned it since the late 50's. It was a real time warp car. In the early 60's it had a 283 in it. He also owned a 57 vette with a 327 in it that ran real well. A guy at work was bugging him to sell the vette so he pulled the 283 out of the 32' and put the vette 327 and 4spd in the 32 and sold him the vette with the old 283!!
The car had an old white naugahyde tuck and roll job, red painted steel wheels and whitewall slicks and a mexican blanket over the original seat fabric, ALL of it on there since the very early 60's. It also is 100% Henry Ford steel including the fenders. He also had a dual quad Hemi intake and carbs from a 55 300 that he threw in for $100. Car was still wearing 1966 Nebraska plates!! He was getting ready to move to Mo. and was wiring lights on the car to hook it to a tow bar to drag it back to Mo.!!!
If I'm not mistaken, one of the Clubhotrod members out of Mo. has it now.

Nice ride
show us some dash shots, gasser!
I've been bugging this friend for a year to sell me his 32 3 window project he hasn't touched in years. Won't sell, he's had it for 30+ years. I'm not giving up- I love the car & would love to finish it. It's only 2,000 miles away from me.

In the progress of painting the coupe now. All that know me ... knows it will be BLACK with red wheels :whacked:
I'm still working on him. My ace in the hole is he has a 55 Chevy wagon project he needs to sink a boatload of cash into & he's a little short on car funds. I thought I had it for sure just before Christmas but he changed his mind at last minute. The stance is perfect- the chop is perfect & it screams for a blown Hemi. He can have the 327 that's in it now. Either a Hemi goes in it or I know where there's a numbered ZZ430 for sale still in the crate.
I need to see yours in black w/ red wheels. Great score!
Here you are....Quote:
