Well, I just got off the phone with James at Ca. Car Cover...ordered a custom fit "Superweave" cover in black for my roadster, complete with a V8 logo on the front... Its supposedly the "best" (read: most expensive) material they offer, and folds up into the size of a throw pillow, which is important since my fuel tank and battery are both in the trunk and I have pretty limited storage space when I'm on the road. Grand total with shipping was 379.99... almost twice what I hoped to spend, but as they say, if being cool was cheap, everybody would be cool. :3dSMILE: :toocool:

I have 2 California Car Covers. One on the ProStreet 55 & one on the roadster.
Fit is ok- Cover was done before some mods. I had to cut holes in the cover for my side mirrors. I talked to CCC at Pomona Swap meet & they sell mirror socks you can add to your cover & have upholstery shop sew them in. It's on the list. Mine doesn't fit my bop top either but what the heck- it sits in my living room most of the time- behind the couch. Wifey loves that part. :whacked:

I had a custom tonneau cover made to cover the cockpit for the frequent Florida rain showers. It can be used withor without the my topster style soft top and it splits so I can keep the passenger side covered while I drive. It is made of the soft top fabric and set me back 2 bones.

Well, I just got my cover in the mail from Ca. Car Cover. I'd say it fits "decent" at best. The worst part is around the back of my top, it looks like its made for a more upright, stock style top than the laid back Bop Top. Its very tight around the base of the rear section of top, but has a "pocket" at the upper portion of the rear section... not too "custom fit" as it was described to be, but oh well... its better than the Camaro cover i was using. I haven't taken it off yet to see if it scuffs or scratches my black paint, but it's not "supposed" to... then again it was "supposed" to fit like a glove too... so we'll see. Here's some pics of it installed, pardon the crappy garage, the Yenkos are occupying the "nice" garage right now.

Looks good to me. Its a custom cover not a tailored one and should keep the dust off.

Not bad at all. Got a dustop for my 57 about 8 years ago from CCC and it has held up extremely well. Got a lot of cover for the price, car is 19 feet long. They even had to sew in extra material for the sun visor. Mine has a lot of extra material do it so it is easy to adjust. If it were smaller or tighter, it would be more difficult to manage easily.
Yours looks good.

I ordered a CCC at York (haven't tried it yet - car isn't ready). Had a gut feel that the guy that took my order wasn't "with it" so gave CCC a call. It was for a '32 3W Coupe!!! I have a '31 'A' roadster. Give them a call, ask if it's the correct one by comparing part numbers.

One vote against CCC. I ordered a custom fit cover for a 32 highboy a few years ago and it didn't fit at all. Filled out all the dimensions on their sheet and even talked to them on the phone. I own a machine shop and know dimensioning, it was just screwed up. It may have been the only bad one they ever made but it didn't fit. They did offer to take it back, but it was time for the nationals and you know how it goes, I used it like a sack and just let the wheels hang out.

My California Cover has been a life saver. I've had mine for 3 or 4 years, I ordered the fitted cover for the Highboy 32 with top (just in case I ever decide to add one)... It has been great!
I usually cover the Roadster even when it is sitting in the shop, which means I don't have to spend as much time dusting it off when I am ready to go for a drive. Used to drive the car to all the events, but like you said with the battery, fuel cell and 1500 watts worth of car audio equipment in the trunk it does not leave much room for luggage.
After a few close calls with thunder storms and getting baptised a couple of times a year I invested in a 22 ft v-nose covered trailer. Now I can cruise around any event and be close to shelter if need be!!!
