Wow, Santa was REALLY good to you. :) Nice rod, and I agree on the Cragar SS wheels, they have always been one of my fav's.

Don
Real nice, I'm jealous :)
very nice job, whats not to like about a project like that. keep us posted!
Realy nice job. Your right they look great going away but I'd like to see one COMING MY WAY    keep up the good work
I have a '32 highboy, too. Looks like you are going to have my kind of rod when you are done. Nice job. What color do you have in mind?
Great job. I love a father & son project, even if it is a Chevy in a Ford:LOL:
That is going to be one sweet ride, and please keep us posted with pictures.

Danny that is a nice build you are doing & will be one sweet ride you'll love not counting the memories of a father & son building it together. I'm building a Brookville roadster now for my 2 year old son to enjoy later. He loves the roadster...getting inside, touching everything, and cries when his mom takes him in the house away from the hotrod. One can never begin too early learning to love and enjoy hotrods. Keep up the good work there!
Danny,
The car looks like it will be terrific. You're the only person I have run into who is using a BeBop body package. I used to see their products at the York nsra nats, but haven't for a while. So how do you like it? How's the quality and have you had many problems with it?
Looks like it will be a fine ride when completed. Keep us posted with plenty of pics.
When I am out in the garage messing with the DeSoto and our grandaughter (3 years old) is visiting, she is right there asking questions and her little hands all over the car. Her grandmother (Granny Margaret) keeps telling her not to touch the car. We just got it out of body shop and Granny Margaret knows how much we paid for the paint job. I tell Granny Margaret to leave her alone, its just a car, and it doesn't bother me. Our grandaughter calls me Papa Hemi.Quote:

Very nice looking. I glad to see someone else is using supertrap mufflers. I use them on my 37 and your right about adjusting the sound you want. They work great.
looking great... I love my 32
Tell me more about the E brake....
Looks like it's going to be a very nice ride, keep up the good work.
The best part of what you are doing (my opinion) is your relationship with each other. I would give anything to have done this with my Dad.
Me too. :(Quote:

Pleased with the BeBop body. They still make the southern shows. I purchased the body and chassis at the Shades of the Past meet in Pigeon Forge. Everything fits pretty good on the body and is relatively smooth.
True story. My first car was a 37 Ford sedan slant back. My Dad and I literally worked on it under a shade tree. Changed the brakes over to hydraulic, put in a 50 model flat head, had it painted, and this was my car in high school. I had never forgotten the experience with my Dad and I wanted to duplicate that ame experience with my son. Graduated in '65 and sold a good solid body 37 for $500  a move I regret until this day.
Tell me more. I am not famailiar with 'supertrap mufflers'?:confused:Quote:

The only downside is if you have a high horsepower engine, they don't flow as well as some of the free flowing mufflers like DynoMax UltraFlows. But they are a popular and I have seen them a lot on street rods.
Guilld,
Are you happy with the Bebops Body & Chassis? I have one on order from them & it should be ready in a couple of weeks!!!!!:) :)
