    I ground them fairly smooth and then had them Jet-Hot coated ... they have been on the car for 20 thousand miles and look almost as good as the day I took them out of the box from Jet-Hot ... I did the 3W coupe set the same way ... just got them back last week ... and they look even better than the ones on the roadster ... But ... I took a good bit more time grinding on them it and the extra effort shows ...

    After reading this thread and being somwhat confused, I broke down and went the oppisite direction. I have a Be-Cool rad. and just ordered their A/C condenser, mounting frame and their elec. fan for my '32. Most of the rods I see around here with A/C are using elec. fans so I decided to go that way. I already had my brackets, pulleys and new alum. water pump etc.
    I hope to get to work some on the the hot rod this weekend.

    IMO electric is the way to go. Looks cleaner and much easier to get the fan close and cool well
