30-31 Body on a 32 frame?
What mods, if any are required to set a 30-31 body on a stock 32 frame?

A Model A frame is a flat frame in that there is no rear kickup on the side rails. A 32 for frame has a kickup at the back. Corresponding, the Model A body underside is flat while the 32 body has a raised portion at the back to clear the kickup. Also, the Model A body is narrower than a 32, so you have to either widen the body (ugh!) or narrow the frame and cut out the rear floor for the kickup
If you havent bought your Deuce frame yet, people like Hot Rods and Custom Stuff (Escondido, CA) sell a Deuce frame made for a Model A body....right width and a flat rear portion.

On the Wescott site they have all the dimensions, a deuce frame will also have to be narrowed up to work under an A-bone.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I have the components to build the frame, but I do not have a body yet. I was just looking into my options, I live in Alaska so if I go with a 32 body I will have to bring it up from the lower 48. I might however find a restorable Model A body here somewhere.
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
