Thread: Cool Valve Covers on the cheap

My car had a pair of those 69.00 finned valve covers on it when I bought it... it also had a cheapie open element air cleaner on it, and I bought myself a new Moon finned oval air cleaner for Christmas, and was going to save up for the 220.00 matching Moon valve covers to go with it... I was surprised to discover how nicely my "cheapie" covers matched the air cleaner, so I had a buddy make me a set of decals with an "Ansen Equipped" logo i stole from a T-shirt I saw on ebay. These covers were originally made by Ansen years ago, but never actually said Ansen on them...the molds have since been bought by someone else. I tried to style the logo to look like something from "back in the day", I think they look pretty cool, and didn't cost me a nickel... in fact, I think I'll hold off on changing the valve covers for awhile. Whaddya think?
