Took my ole Roadster out for lunch today ... :D
I have a long honey doo list, work needed on my rental property and then there is ALWAYS ... the 32 3W coupe that needs attention ... But I said ... Not today ... I am spending the afternoon in the roadster ... with the wind blowing thru what little hair I have left ... :D :)
[B]Thats what the doctor ordered! Besides when the right tunes hit the speakers and the rpm hits that sweet spot...... time goes in reverse.....

Bah--Frickin Humbug. 2" snow today.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! Freezing rain and snow forecast for the weekend..... I'll be in the garage (til April, probably).
I left new york with snow on the ground, got up this morning and drove the merc to the beach, woo hoo gotta love the south, its about 70 out right now, nice and sunny
Sunny but kinda cold here in lovely Southern California... Last week we had a spell of dry COOOOOLD and the grass was frozen in the morning... I managed to cruise for about 6 hours with temps around 45F without a top in Hiboy. Met up with large group of hotrod owners to go look at Christmas lights. I was the only one in a roadster... Everyone is looking at me like I have TWO heads :LOL: and the wives are feeling so sorry for me...

Ironically all of them were freezing in their husband's unheated coupes and what-nots and I, the solo cruising hotrod girl in my totally open, weather exposed , good ol' 32 Hiboy was cozy and warm... thanks to no less than 6 layers of ski clothes... There is no cold that Sports Chalet couldn't fix ;) . :LOL:
England has no snow but the weathers been no better with (until recently) freezing fog closing down Heathrow Airport for days. Everythings damp and cold, roll on summer.
72 here in Southside Virginia today. Yesterday, very sunny but only in mid 50's, which ain't bad if sunny.

I would really like to live in Southern California for the next year. All the 75th anniversary 32 Ford events that are scheduled in that area ... it would be nice to be able to attend them all ... but it is 2500 miles one way. I am planning on making one or two of the special events in California this year ... but cannot make them all ... :(Quote:

it was 50's here yesterday , so i got the vicky out for a drive .
60s here today, so I drove the DeSoto to work. Leaving for extended lunch hour in a few minutes.

The normally frozen tundra of upstate NY so far has not been bad with only ~2 tenths of an inch of snow so far. Every day but about 3 or 4 when it has not gone above freezing and a warming trend forecast thru this upcoming weekend. The winter sports venues are suffering mightily. My lawn is still green!!!!
WE WILL GET A SNOW OR FREEZING RAIN DUMP EVENTUALLY THIS SEASON:eek:

It's just been too nice here in south central PA. Last couple of weeks temps ranging from hi 40's to low 60's. Got a bad feeling about January and February. :eek: Hope I am wrong.
Went out and fired up the 57 Olds today. First time since breaking my arm. :CRY: That old big block pushing hot air through a pair of Smithy's really sound gooood!:D Got to get the battery charged in the 34 before cranking it over. Can't wait till Spring :LOL: :LOL:
My grandson and I went over to visit the Village Idiots on Tuesday (H.A.M.B. group) night in the roadster,46 degrees, my grandson is smarter than me he asked "why didn't we go when the sun was out?"
Hunter Mountian ( Hunter Ny, ), where I work in the rentals shop, by this time last year, we would have all trails open and have atleast 2k people rent on Xmas day, this year we had 997 rentals on Xmas day and 21 trails were open, our high was 1200 rentals. only reason Hunter is open is because of snowmaking. normally we can do 100% snowmaking but this year we blew about 10k 1 night because none of the snow they blew on 1 trail was sticking, they were running snow max ( raises freezing point to 37* ) in the guns, but the ground was wet/ and warm.Quote:

Dam**d the bugs, full speed ahead. Went cruising Saturday (68 F) up in the mountains, window down, arm hanging out. GREAT day of crusing, me and a buddy got about 175 miles on our hot rods.
OLD WIVES TAIL. Cold weather in the winter has NO bearing on the population of bugs in the summer. I have seen 62 winters and 62 summers, and the winter temps made no difference in the summer bug population.
