Tempting... i think i'll try to get the Street Rod tags first.. but good to know i have a last resort if the DMV laughs at me. Your car looks great btw. Can't wait to get mine on the road next spring...say, how 'bout I meet you on the pike and follow ya to York next year?

ALSO A NOTE ABOUT WINDSHIELD WIPERS: when I visited CW MOSS last month I picked the brains of their tech there (Mark) about something new I hear is coming out. He confirmed that they should carry a windshield wiper unit that is removable AND also simply plugs into the cigarette lighter plug under the dash (so no extra wiring required). I'll check with him again early january to see if it is coming out and will let you guys know. Might be worth the wait!

I am sure I am sure I will be working at York or Carlisle that weekend for the Ford show. I am sure we can hook up someplace

I don't have a roadster but i do live in PA. Six years ago my title process was a pain in the ass because of the previous owner's out of state registration, but had no problems with things like tinted glass (all windows and windshield); no outside mirrors; no front bumper; and, no wipers. Have all now except bumper. As to annual inspections, it all depends on the shop and mechanic. Mine looks at the car, checks the mileage against the prior year, declares "it's a streetrod", slaps a sticker on it, hits me for $26. PA titling regs are looser than they use to be, but documenting the build of a "reconstructed" car is a whole lot worse. When I titled the required documentation was 3 pages, now i'ts 21.

Back then, PennDot wouldn't take digital pictures, wanted only photos on photo paper preferrably from a film camera. Some insurance companies won't accept digital either.

I opted for the streetrod plate instead of the daily driver plate for insurance reasons, but there is little difference.

21 pages and if they find something wrong they stop where they are and send it back. You would think they woul dcomplete and outline all areas they need corrected but they dont. My uncle it took him 4 months before he said the heck with it and went with a regular tag. That is the reason I went the same route witha regular tag.

How do you guys do that photshop thing?
I would be glad to pay for some photoshop ideas on two-toning or maybe just graphics on my DeSoto. Is that a service anyone offers?
