On my 32 frame, the front number is easy to read. The back two locations were under the webbing between the body and the frame and are pretty corroded.
Denny, if you come to Tucson, the Coke is yours.......I was up to 20 Diet Cokes a day until July 15th, 2005 when I quit cold turkey....now, I'm afraid to try one because it will taste bad!!!!

On a 32 it should be just in front of the mounting "leg" that comes off the firewall, on the top of the driver side frame rail.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Wouldn't your VIN# be on your registration and title?

Like Bob said, it is directly in front of the driver's side firewall bolt.....on some cars, the firewall bracket hides the end of the number sequence and the last star stamp. The number is on the top side of the rail.

Deuce Roadster to the rescue ...
Here is a photo of the EXACT location on a Deuce frame ... where the firewall foot ( with the 3 bolts ) meet the frame rail.
When I did the frame for the 3W ... I made sure the numbers were NOT covered up with frame and filler ...
Hope this helps
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
