Hi,
I'm trying to decide on a color to paint the '32 3W I'm building.
It's a project I'm going to be building with my son, and he suggested a really bright lime green (kind of like the Mopar Sublime Lime) from the late 60's.
I'd go with a really bright red (same as my Apache in my avitar), but I think two bright red cars might be boring.
I've always liked a really bright yellow (almost orange), but I don't want it to look like a clone of the Graphitti Coupe (even though that's more of a lemon yellow).
Don't think I want to go with black (but maybe if it had a hood top, I could go with flames on the top of the hood wrapping down and around the sides of the car?).
FYI, it's going to be a 3W highboy with no hood (top or sides - gotta show off the tri power).
Another color that has caught my eye recently is the burgundy that you see on the new Chrysler Pacifica...
Any way, I'm looking for advice and opinions, want to keep the car for many years, so I want to be sure that once I decide it's a color I like, but also something that 10-15 years from now won't look dated.
I like the really bright green my son recommended, but I'm a little afraid that the color might be too "plastic" looking?
As you can see, I'm really all over the board here and need someone to point me in the right direction.
