Anybody here have a Shell Valley Roadster?
I am looking for anyone who has built a Shell Valley "A" Roadster.
I have gotten lots of input from guys sho have built their Cobras and have heard NOTHING bad so far (unlike FFR).
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

We have one of their bodies on a narrowed Deuce frame, quite pleased with the body. Well built.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks, Dave.
Every one of the people with their Cobras who I have communicated with seems very happy with the Shell Valley products. Seems that the kits ship complete without backordered or missing parts (unlike FFR).
Most also say that the bodies are very good, and only require 50 hours or so to prep.
They also report great customer support.
I still haven't talked to anyone who has built a complete '32 Roadster kit though.
For me, (and my budget), that seems like the way to go, especially since I estimate I can build the complete car for around $25,000.
Am I dreaming?

If you are going to do most of the work yourself, then no, your not dreaming. I have essentially completed the roadster pickup for $22,000 in Canada where everything costs a lot more than USA, by doing pretty well all the work myself.Old guy hot rodder

I plan on doing almost everything myself. I will probably farm out the paint and any necessary machine work, but not much else.
It helps that the Shell Valley kit is SOOOO complete for $12,500.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
