Inner structure/glass bodies
Should the inner steel structure of a glass roadster be harnessed in any way to support the glass body in critical locations? If so were are these typical locations?
I had a thought to use expanding foam between the inner structure and body in critical locations to provide added support if needed.
What do you think?
Thanks, Kitz

Use the two part glue that is made for bonding steel to fiberglass. You will need reinforcement on the door jambs, body mounts, something on the inside of the cowl to hang pedals off of, some structure around the top of the trunk opening. Save the expanding foam for insulating the house.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
