32 sedan parts
Hi guys
I've just joined this forum.
I have just bought a Steel 32 2 door sedan body. It's in pretty good shape. But there are some missing parts.
I need to find some window surrounds and a dash panel. Are these things hard to find?
There was a flat steel firewall fitted, I wasn't too impressed with this, so I think an original firewall maybe on the shopping list also.
My plans are to spend the next year massaging the shell into better shape, taking around 4 inches out the roof, and when it's ready replacing the firbeglass roadster body. Of course my plans change as much as our weather.
I'll post pictures as soon as I can

Welcome to CHR, Mel. The roadster looks great, got any pics of the sedan you could post. I did a 3" chop on a sedan, that was plenty. If I do another for me it will only be 2 or 2 1/2. JMO

Hi Dave/Ted
Thanks for your replies. I did wonder whether people were interested :0)
Yes I understand what you are both saying. When I say 4 " , to be truthful I havn't been out there to measure yet.
It's cost me a few quid, so when I have saved for a new hacksaw blade, i'll get stuck in.
But it's going to be a healthy chop.
If I understand both of your postings , you have both chopped sedans before?
I have been having discussions about this, and a friend suggested that it is possible to rake the A pillars slightly to avoid adding filling strips to the the roof. The B pillars should line up with a few pie cuts and the back should also align OK. This guy has chopped an A sedan already without sectioning the roof, we are wondering if it's possible with the B sedan? What are your thoughts.
