Bogging
I've been having a problem here lately and wondering if anyone could give me a hand. It seem that at WOT, when i get up to about 55-65, it starts bogging down, but when i let off and open it back up it does fine one up to 100. I'm really thinking it's got something to do with the carb(edelbrock quadrajet 750), but then again, it could bve th ignition, i don't really know alot about either. Just hoping someone might have a useful opinion, andy help will be greatly appreciated.

Denny,
Could be an Edelbrock Q-Jet. Check it out.

But I think you're spot on about the air valve above the secondaries. (Learned that with my old GTO)Jack

first thing check fuel filter. q-jets also have a problem with the secondary wells leaking but you would notice this any time you open the throtle suddenly. next thing i would check is your fuel pump

I've got the same problem with my 350. I also thought it was the new EB 750. I changed to a Holly streetavenger. It helped just a little. I believe it is my ignition. Currently I'm running a Mallory distributor. I intend to switch to MSD. I've been told my spark arch may be too shallow.
