I got the engines changed yesterday and finished hooking everything up this morning. I had the distributor in backwards the first time I tried to start it but when I got it right it fired right up as soon as I touched the key. It runs great now. Lots of power for a "junky ole 305" and no more oil leaks. Thanks for the help guys and special thanks to proZ for telling me to check the cam plug.
How many miles do I have to put on it before I can see how much rubber it'll burn? I got 35 trouble free miles on it so far.
