    Ring gap

     



    What is the ring gap for a stock 350, chevy, the engine is being built for a race car. got the rings the other day and tryed to slide the pistons in and it took a lot to get one in. so i pulled it back it was so tight that it took the hone out of the wall so what is the right ring gap for the 350

    ok thanx streets, found out today that they where .014 to big, from what i was told that there are two kinds of pistons a shalow ringed piston and a deep ringed piston. and i got the ones for the deep, learn something new everyday. thanx again
