I do get great gas mileage when I'm on the highway. The car is electronic fuel injected. And like I mentioned above, it only turns 2300 rpms at 100. At 80 it turns 2100. So it should get great gas mileage. Around town, it just depends on how much fun I'm having. If I keep my foot out of it, I average around 15-16 mpg in town. Out on the road, I've gotten 23-25 mph depending upon if I'm running the A/C or not. But I dont tell too many people about it because they simply dont believe you can have a 400+ hp motor and still get decent mileage. Anyone who has been lucky to have someone explain how important it is to build the engine with "harmony" knows that great performance and mileage can be delivered with the right planning.

I unfortunately had to figure this one out for myself because I was too stupid to listen to my dad when he wasn't "as smart" as I was at the time.
