    oil pump prob?

     



    compression is ok,,,,,lifters ok......runs fine....lately my oil pressure has dropped dramatically when temp rises..im talkin 15/20 =holdinglbs....this is scary..gauges seem to work ok..could this be my oil pump surging?i don't wanna blow a lethal small block up..stumped..cured the smoking..we got timing straight..replaced plugs.....any comments ok?could i have a crank problem?

    What Streets said.......and also,what viscosity oil you using??...did this happen at start or been progressing?

    everything is new..about 1000 miles......i got the oil changed =my own oil .and now something seems wrong....i know that sounds crazy..but ?434 pro street motor went through last fall rings etc....im really stumped.this sux..i never check the simplest things=i know thats stupid but 99 times out of 100 especially hi perf motors its serious.added a new roller cam and wanted to change oil again get out any imperfections...damn.metal bits etc.....
