anyone run this cam ? or close ? its ... Specifications:
* Advertised duration: 282 intake/282 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 224 intake/224 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .465 in. intake/.465 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 114 degrees
* RPM range: 2,200 to 5,200
* Ground with a 5 degree advance
how's it run , sound, need 9.5 compression ? any other info ?

Sorry...I run street rods, and that's too much cam for cruisin.
That's a power cam so your rear has to be so high to stay in the power band that you'd kill a small block quick.
With the lift the same you won't get much lump if that's what you were asking about.
That's a pretty mild cam. How it sounds also depends on what size motor your running, mainly your crank stroke. The more the crank stroke the milder the cam will sound.
With a 114 degree lobe seperation it's my guess the cam would sound stock, and those duration figures aren't really that high either to make that radical cam bump. Sounds like a nice street cam. If your looking for the more radical cam sound get something with a lobe seperation around 110 or less. But remember you will loose vacuum and drivability with lower lobe seperation numbers and higher duration numbers.
