Brand new to the forum and seeking knowledge.
I have a 91 c1500 that is my first project car. I recently blew the tranny because of an unknown leak. Upon pulling my transmission i found the flex plate to have some chipped teeth. I have no idea what brand to go with for replacement. The tranny is a 700r4 and the 350 is stock. I plan to have the tranny rebuilt for higher hp and performance. So what brand flexpate should i go for and how do i determine fit? Also is it best to replace the torque converter as well?
