Clutch pivot ball find ????
Hi all, first off nobody really knows exactly what the engine is where installing but the casting number is 3970010 and we know it’s a Chevy small block!! The 1965 Chevy 327 small block that we’re replacing clutch ball is too big to fit in the hole on the new 3970010 engine!! And I need one yesterday. Any thoughts??

I guess I need to find out what engine it is first though and why my old one doesn’t fit ?? Shouldn’t a 327 bolt fit a 350 or 302 sb ??

If you're saying the threaded shaft is too big to screw in, drill oversize and rethread.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
